This month marked a shift in my training from CrossFit to track and field specific training. If you read An Achievable Goal or a Mid-Life Crisis, you will remember that I have a goal to run a sub-60 second 400 meter dash.
I am finding that my current training threshold is about 5 hours per week, but I know many of you are in much better shape and spend more time working out. Perhaps some of you are preparing for the 2012 CrossFit games.
As individuals of different ages and abilities, our capacity to endure the stress of training is going to vary significantly. That said, you might want to read the article Overtraining Syndrome so you understand what signs to look for as you approach the limits of your training.
What about you? How many hours per week do you train or exercise (including warming up and mobility)?
